Last week Cherie was at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. where she co-chaired the third International Council for Women’s Business Leadership. After the meeting she spoke with BBC World America on the importance of supporting women’s economic development.

I have been encouraged by the video clip-my immediate reaction is to agree and say Yes lets go for it. Its true that many people are told what they cant do. Being an upcoming Change Agent soliciting for partners in making change happen through our Change Agency Initiative (CAI) encouraging sharing of ideas and programs that make individuals ‘go for it’ and forget about things they cant change. The programs; Confidence building, practical training, use of technology, skills development and human resources training are some of the areas where such talks and involvement add value to many women like me. I would like to connect more to such initiatives.
