Working with local partners
We work together with organisations based in Africa, South Asia and the Middle East; jointly developing projects to help women start and expand their businesses. With a combination of country specific projects and global programmes, we provide women entrepreneurs around the world with four key areas of support:
- business development
- access to finance
- technology
- network opportunities
Fostering successful entrepreneurs
We help fill the gap in the economy known as the ‘missing middle’ – small and medium-sized enterprises. The women we work with have the potential to take the next step towards becoming successful entrepreneurs or are running small businesses that have already had some success but are struggling to sustain their position or expand. By focusing on the women who have already achieved a level of success, we’re helping women to create employment opportunities and contribute to their economies.
Grant applications
We do not accept unsolicited grant applications. Instead, we work together with our local partners to develop projects in line with our mission statement. We work within a global community of organisations aiming to economically empower women and we welcome new knowledge partners. Find out how you can get involved.
