Providing integrated business support to women entrepreneurs

Enabling women entrepreneurs to convert creative business ideas into reality

Business Development Centre for Women

In partnership with the Business Women Forum - Palestine, the Cherie Blair Foundation recently opened a new business development centre for women based in Ramallah.  We are pleased to announce that the first clients signed on with the Business Women Forum in an official ceremony held in April.

Providing a range of services to women entrepreneurs

The centre is aimed at women who already own businesses and are struggling to expand or those who have the potential to become successful entrepreneurs but lack support to reach the next level.  It serves as a one stop shop for business development, offering a range of practical support services.

Encouraging women's participation in the private sector

The centre helps women to become significant players in the economy, not only to support their families financially but also to support their communities. To this end, the centre provides quality business support services and valuable business networking opportunities.  Encouraging women’s participation in the private sector and their ability to function successfully within a highly unstable economic system will contribute to the revitalisation of the Palestinian economy.
